Teaching Objectives:

1. Knowledge objective: Ss can master new words and phrases and know how to write a passage about a festival correctly and fluently.

2. Ability objective: Ss can use a writing plan and a model poster to develop creative writing skills.

3. Emotional objective: Ss will get interested in writing and love Chinese traditional festivals.

Warm up:

What festivals do you know now? Do you know them well?Let’s have a check.

Step 2.While-writing

Which are Chinese festivals? So which festival do you think is the most important in China? What do you know about the Spring Festival?
